6 Bears & A Goat Brewing Company
This veteran owned brewery and restaurant has an unusual name, 6 Bears & A Goat Brewing Company, so you are sure to remember it!
They specialize in small-batch handcrafted beers using the freshest ingredients available.
All of the beers are brewed on-site and served fresh from the tap. They also offer a variety of styles to suit every taste, including IPAs, stouts, porters, wheat beers, and more.
Strangeways Brewing

If you want to explore peculiar concoctions, you will love Strangeways Brewing where they encourage you to “Think Strange. Drink Strange.”
Check out the 100-foot bar laden with weird and unusual curiosities and brewing memorabilia. It’s just one of the unusual pieces of art in the brewery, so look around at the funky decor and art gallery.
There are 36 beers to choose from at Strangeways Brewing, lots of snack foods and abundant space to enjoy your brew! Plus there are arcade games and board games to enjoy.

Maltese Brewing Company
Joseph Smith and Bobby Cook, two firefighters, founded and began the operation of Maltese Brewing Company. This brewery is named after the firefighter’s Maltese Cross, and the hard work and dedication they needed as firefighters have been carried over to this brewery.
The Matese Brewing Company is a relaxed and family-friendly brewery just outside Fredericksburg with a great backstory. They have a dog-friendly outdoor Biergarten and a spacious indoor taproom.
Highmark Brewery
Highmark Brewery is a Bavarian-style brewery located outside of Fredericksburg in Stafford County. They have frequent events such as live music, open mic night, and trivia night. You can also reserve space on-site for parties and special events.
They offer in-house pretzels and snacks, and you’ll also find food trucks Wednesday through Saturday.
The brewery offers a variety of beers, including IPAs, stouts, and porters. Highmark also offers a rotating selection of seasonal and special release beers. The brewery has a taproom where visitors can sample the various beers on offer, as well as plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy on nice days.
Barley Naked Brewery
Barley Naked Brewery is a brewery in Stafford County, near Fredericksburg.
Their range of beers includes something for everyone, from light and refreshing lagers to rich and full-bodied ales.

1781 Brewing Company
Located in Spotsylvania just outside of Fredericksburg, the 1781 Brewing Company is a farmhouse brewery that is definitely worth the drive!
Locally grown, Virginian barley is used in production.
